Ecotourism in Cancun´s Heart

Nichupté is a lagoon of approximately three thousand hectares, located in the heart of Cancun and is connected to the Caribbean Sea through the Sigfrido and Nizuc channels. In this place you can enjoy beautiful sunsets and landscapes of crystalline waters surrounded by mangroves that form passageways where different types of birds, marine species as well as mammals and reptiles that coexist in this entire ecosystem live.

HOW TO GO THROUGH IT?

Tour the lagoon at your own pace: Whether in a speedboat, in an exclusive water limo for your group or as part of a caravan of kayaks, jet skys or waverunners, navigate the entire lagoon and observe the odd curious iguana, a frog, a turtle, a crocodile and even the footprints of a leopard that is around.

HOW TO TAKE CARE OF IT?

Reforest the mangrove: You can be part of the mangrove reforestation and care campaign, as well as participate in the collection and sowing of mangrove seeds; You can also learn more about the plant and animal community that makes up the coastal wetlands where fresh water from rivers mixes with salt water from the sea.

HOW TO GET THERE?

You can stay at MANSION HUAYACAN CANCUN, we can take you in a private transportation to any of the 2 entrances of the Hotel Zone, where you can rent a yacht or take a tour of this beautiful lagoon.
